Delivery Options

Standard Shipping: Deliveries are made during regular business hours Monday-Friday, and you may request NSR (no signature required). If you choose to include your email address, our carrier will email you with delivery status and tracking information. Within Ontario, Standard Shipping is $6.00 for one book, $12.00 for more than one book. Outside of Ontario, please contact our Customer Service Department for pricing information.

If you choose NSR shipping and your parcel is lost, stolen or damaged Alpha Textbooks and the selected carrier will not be held responsible. If you choose to have your package delivered with a signature and you are not home at time of delivery the parcel will be returned to Alpha Textbooks. You will then have the option of paying a second time for redelivery or picking your parcel up at Alpha Textbooks. You will not be refunded any fees for the missed delivery so please choose an address where someone can accept the delivery (we can deliver to business addresses) or choose NSR.

Back-Ordered Books: Due to circumstances beyond our control (ie. Publisher delays) there could be an occasion when a book you have ordered is not available right away, in which case we will hold your entire order until all items are in stock. If you would like your order shipped immediately without the outstanding book(s) you will be charged shipping for the initial shipment as well as an additional $6.00 for the backordered book(s) to be shipped out later. You can also pick up your books at our store to save shipping charges.

Special Delivery: If you require any special shipping services i.e. 2 hour, "same day" or "overnight rush" or arranging for pick up with your own courier, please first contact our Customer Service Department.

Pick Up at Store: When your order is ready for pick up, our Customer Service Department will contact you via email or phone. Due to space limitations we appreciate it if you pickup your order within 3 days after you are contacted. We do not charge any handling or storage fees for pickup orders.
