Sell Your Books

Alpha Textbooks will buy your new and used textbooks, teacher's resources, unused workbooks, novels and reference books. We accept elementary, middle and high school books as well as some university and college level books. Please note that university or college textbooks may only have equity for up to 3 years from the publication date, not the date of purchase. You are strongly advised to bring in all textbooks as soon as you are done with them to ensure they don't go out of date and become unsellable or needlessly lose value.

Due to constant fluctuations in pricing, and to ensure you get current fair market value for your books, you are encouraged to bring them into the store and have them assessed. You can also email or fax (416-778-7976) us a list of books (please make sure to include ISBN's, titles and authors). You can also call us at (416) 461-3542 or 1-877-63-ALPHA (1-877-632-5742). Please note, however, that during busy periods we will not be able to check more than than one or two titles over the phone.

We also hold regular buy back sessions at various schools as per needed by semester changes and course completions. Please email us to inquire.
