Description:
This work aims to discover, understand and appreciate a choice of texts among the most representative of French literature with an opening to the Francophonie. From the Middle Ages to the present day, the 65 texts presented in this work are classified in chronological order and take into account all genres: novel, poetry, theater, letters... Among these 65 texts, 38 belong to the 20th century, 15 to the 19th century, 4 in the 18th century, 4 in the 17th century, 2 in the 16th century and 2 in the Middle Ages. Priority was given to contemporary texts more suited to the language level of the target audience. On the left page: the literary text, a short biography of the author, explanatory notes. On the right page: guided discovery and exploration activities. An index by authors, by genres and by themes as well as a glossary explaining literary terms are found at the end of the work and make it easier to use.
