Students will become familiar with the world, its countries, its continents, differing attractions, methods of transportation, as well as the unique adventures that await today's explorers. They will learn about travel in North America, Europe, and Africa through the eyes and experiences of teens who have traveled around the world.
Final Task: Students select a destination and promote it at a class Travel Fair with a brochure, poster of powerpoint presentation.
Age appropriate, full-colour and motivating themes, containing opportunities for speaking, listening, reading, and writing, presented in a variety of formats. Also included are models of final taks, video clips, learning strategy boxes, and examination of grammar in Quête-language boxes. A mini reference hand-book "Mini-guide", located at the back of the student book includes literacy strategies, additional information related to the theme, and a summary of all language structures presented in the unit.
