Moscow, November 2016. Ilya Lvovich returns from detention in a camp in Siberia. Faced with the death of his mother and a world he no longer recognizes, he kills, on the night of his return, the rogue officer who, seven years earlier, had set him up for simple pettiness, and retrieves his mobile phone. He then has only one idea in mind: to postpone the deadline of his death so that he can offer a decent burial to his mother. One solution: to pick up the fragments of the life of the policeman in the phone to make it seem that he is still alive. Ilya then begins a simultaneous chess game and a dive into the depths of the soul of the one he hates.
